I was born to the late Charles Buck and Sharon Hale in Andrews, TX
1972. My dad was a student at the Sunset School of Preaching (now
SIBI) in Lubbock, TX at the time of my
birth. My dad was a faithful minister for 24 years and passed in
1996. My mother also passed from this life in 1998. I have a brother
who has served as the pulpit minister for the Lytle Church of Christ,
as Missionary to Estonia and currently
serves as pulpit minister at the
Nor-Dan Church of Christ in Danville, VA.
I graduated from Nueces Canyon High School in 1991 and
attended Southwest Texas Junior College were I received by AA

It was during this time I married my High School Sweetheart Deborah
Dockal. Upon
gradation from Junior College we attended Sul Ross State University
were I received my BA in Composite Social Sciences with Teacher
Certification and my wife, Debbie also her BA in the teaching field
as well (Her major was math). I taught 7th and 8th grade History
with the Uvalde CISD for five years. During the last year of
teaching I made the decision to start working with our Churches
(Getty St.) youth.
After completing a year with the church in Uvalde, TX, my wife and I
decided to move our family to Lubbock, TX
so I could attend the Sunset International Bible Institute.
Graduating in 2002, I became the full time youth minister with the
Birdwell Lane congregation in Big Spring, TX. I had spent the last
year at Sunset working as the part-time youth minister at the
Birdwell Lane congregation. After one year of part-time and 2 years
of full time we decided to move to Sherman,
TX and work with the Parkview Family. It has been a great and
wonderful experience. I enjoy the area, town and the Christian
family here at Parkview. Debbie and I have two wonderful children,
Preslie (daughter) and Pierce (son). Both attend the Sherman school
district and enjoy going to school and more importantly Church
activities. |
