| 2 John |
|
|
9 Anyone who goes too far and
does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who
abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. |
|
10 If anyone comes to you and
does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do
not give him a greeting; |
|
11 for the one who gives him a
greeting participates in his evil deeds. |
|
12 Having many things to write
to you, I do not want to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to
you and speak face to face, that your joy may be made full. |
|
13 The children of your chosen
sister greet you. |
| 1 Timothy 1: |
|
|
12 I thank Christ Jesus our
Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful,
putting me into service; |
|
13 even though I was formerly
a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. And yet I was
shown mercy, because I acted ignorantly in unbelief; |
|
14 and the grace of our Lord
was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in
Christ Jesus. |
|
15 It is a trustworthy
statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the
world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all. |
|
16 And yet for this reason I
found mercy, in order that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might
demonstrate His perfect patience, as an example for those who would
believe in Him for eternal life. |
| Acts 23: |
|
|
1 And Paul, looking intently
at the Council, said, "Brethren, I have lived my life with a
perfectly good conscience before God up to this day." |
| Acts 26: |
|
|
9 "So then, I thought to
myself that I had to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus of
Nazareth. |
|
10 "And this is just what
I did in Jerusalem; not only did I lock up many of the saints in
prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, but also when
they were being put to death I cast my vote against them. |
| Matthew 7: |
|
|
21 "Not everyone who says
to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does
the will of My Father who is in heaven. |
