Monday evening, join the expedition as we go on a search for our first ancient artifact lost centuries ago in the Cave. On our quest together, you’ll meet a character you may remember from a previous VBS, who’s had his eye on the artifact for years. You’ll get to travel with him and learn how and why God watches over us and why what we do can impact the lives of others.

God sees everything we do, both good and bad. We can't hide from him. God is happy when we do what is right and sad when we do wrong. God can reward us for doing what's right, even when no one else knows about it.

Job 28:24 - ...for he views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.

The adventure continues Tuesday as we search for our second artifact that is said to be in the Cave as well. In search for this , you’ll meet an outgoing billionaire who’s heard legends about the artifact, and wants to find it. Follow him and, during your trek, you will discover that God hears everything we say to each other and about the importance of prayer.

God can hear everyone's prayers at once because God is everywhere. We can only be at one place at a time, and usually we can't understand more than one person at a time. But God is not like us - he is not limited. Not only can God hear and understand everyone who is praying to him in many different languages, but he also can give each person his full attention.

1 John 5:14 - …if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

On Wednesday, we pick up where we left off, in search for another lost artifact hidden deep within the Cave. We will be visited by yet another character who will, this time, supply a map and clues to finding the artifact. Although he knows where it is located, he can’t get to it without your help! Join him on this trek, learning about God’s vast knowledge of us and how He can use us to do great things for His glory.

1 Samuel 16:7 - “...The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

The final artifact that you will search for might be the greatest treasure of all. This artifact, though many think it’s a secret, isn’t a secret to us… but you’ll have to discover it yourself!
