Hello again. Do you have a best friend? I sure do and
we do we all sorts of fun stuff together. When I'm feeling down he cheers me
up and when he's feeling down we fly around Union City together. It sure is
good to have a best friend, in fact, you might even have more than one!
If you are planning on attending Vacation Bible School
this summer, you should think about asking your best friend to go with you.
You and you friend would have so much fun together and would have so much to
talk about afterwards! When I was younger, my good friend didn't go to
church and I invited him to many different church events. That's how he
learned about God!!
So I hope to see you there with your best friend. If
mine isn't busy saving the world, I'll invite him too.

Hidy Ho! This is Freeze Frame here and the Capin' just
left his computer so I'm going to type on his blog. There may be some
mixed feelings about me out there so I want to clear up any misconceptions.
I'm not a bad guy, I just love to pull pranks on the Mayor and the Capin'!
It's soooooo funny. But someday I want to be a real superhero like the Capin'
or even better, the people in the Bible you will be learning 'bout. I think
it's really cool that... oh, I gotta go, the Capin' is coming! see u in a
month!

VBS is less than 1 month away and I sure am getting
excited! I have been talking with Mayor Pickit and he has decided to give
away Comic Book Bibles to the children that bring the most friends in each
squad. I have one of these Comic Book Bibles and they sure are cool! You can
read about ALL the real Superheroes in the Bible, including the four we are
talking about at VBS.
You will be receiving a postcard from me in the next
couple of days (if I have your address) and next week our second comic book
comes out! How exciting! Oh, one last thing... have your parents register
you
right here, online, so that you can skip the line when you arrive!
Pre-registering helps the Union City Hall workers out a lot.
Can't wait to see you! God Bless! Oh and if you
haven't seen the first issue of our comic, you can
view it here.

We're you at church services last Sunday? Wasn't it fun
when the lights went out?! Having church in the dark was interesting but
might have gotten scary for some of the younger kids. But you know, the
awesome coincidence is that even though the auditorium was dark, God's light
was shining brighter than ever.
Did you notice how everyone was helping each other so
that the service could keep going? It's great to see people working together
for the glory of God, even with the lights and speakers off. Hopefully, when
you come to VBS the lights wont go off, but we're all going to be working
together so that you have a blast!
Talk to you later!

Hi everyone! I am Captain Marvel and the Union City Times
has graciously allowed me to use their online newspaper for my blog to you!
First of all, I want to make everyone aware of our latest comic book that
hit shelves yesterday. It's titled "The Adventures of Parkview's Captain
Marvel and Freeze Frame." If you didn't get yours in the mail, there are
extras at the church. I hope you enjoy it and be on the look out for the
next issue next month.
I have been extremely busy lately with Freeze Frame
roaming the streets of Union City. Every chance he gets, he pulls a prank!
In fact, the other day, my shoestrings were tied together which caused me to
trip! I just know it was him. Anyway, boys and girls of Sherman, Mayor
Pickit and myself need your help catching Freeze Frame. Remember that you
can come to Parkview church of Christ on July 16 to help us. I will
personally make you an honorary superhero.
Well, that's all I have for now. May the Lord bless
you in all that you do and remember, He loves you very much!!
