Parkview Church of Christ in Sherman, TX announces their Vacation Bible School for 2008. This summer, children from all over the community will join the ranks and hop aboard "The Believer" for an action packed adventure of nautical proportions.   Parkview's VBS begins July 21st at 6:00 pm and continues through Thursday ending each evening at 8:45pm. Friday morning, the kids and crew will have a family fun day, "Parrrrty at the Park." Fun water games and activities will be available and lunch will be served at 11:45 am.   Each year, Parkview designs curriculum that focuses on life lessons children should be exposed to. This year, the focus is on Growth. Monday, July 21: Honor your Father and Mother Family Growth   Tuesday, July 22: Do Unto Others Social Growth   Wednesday, July 23: Love your Enemies Emotional/Social Growth   Thursday, July 24: Love the Lord your God Spiritual Growth This event is for children in preschool through those entering 6th grade. Parent of children are encouraged to stay for the adult session. Brother Welton Stoker, pulpit minister at Parkview, will speak each evening with coinciding lessons. Children in the 5th - 6th grade will have the opportunity to participate in service projects benefiting the community.   The children of the community are invited for this journey in search for the Codes that God has set in place for our lives.
