Jr/Sr High (grades 7 - 12)

This is the most critical time for young people to close the gap between school age and adulthood. In these years most teens choose to follow Christ and it is at this time that most of their knowledge will be developed into what guides them for the rest of their lives.

Here at Parkview, we want our teens to know that they are important and can make a difference for Christ after thy go off to college or other opportunities.

Middle / Intermediate School (grades 4 - 6)

With our middle school, we want to help them make the transition from the elementary age to the Jr/Sr High. In this age, we strive to be more in depth in our Bible studies. By taking the basic knowledge they have learned and providing them the opportunities to apply that knowledge it is hoped that this helps solidify their faith.

Middle School is a wonderful time for our students as they put together their past and what they want in the future, and make the decision to become a part of the body of Christ. It is during this time many are baptized and we want to make sure they are ready to make that choice.

Elementary (grades 1 - 3)

The time children spend in their elementary years is crucial in developing positive self-esteem and learning how to handle various types of relationships and situations. In addition to the current curriculum used at Parkview, we try to implement ways to discover what others are thinking and feeling, and how to help others in times of need.  We strive to build friendships among peers as well as to reach out to those in other age groups.

Through our curriculum, we strive to teach God's word. Through other programs and activities, we strive to teach the Christian lifestyle. Through love, we strive to let each child know of his/her importance to us and God.

Preschool (pre-k - kindergarten)

The Preschool and Kindergarten years are an important time in the development of our children. During this time, we feel children are forming ideas about life, and their personalities are developing into the person they will be throughout life.

This is a time we use to show them that Jesus can be 'real' and not to pass Him off as 'just another story.' During this time, we strive to show them they are important to God and to us and that Jesus loves them very much.

Toddlers (ages 2 - 3)

In the 2's and 3's class, we attempt to make the transition easier for the children coming form cradle roll. We continue to repeat many of the lessons with crafts and songs, assuring them they are loved by God, family and friends.

We teach them to share with others, sit, listen, color and repeat, if only one part of the lesson is just pretend. We reward them for correctly answering questions. We show them they have to be responsible for their actions such as Jonah. We try to have these young ones ready to answer questions with some knowledge of the Bible upon their promotion.

Cradle Roll (birth - 2 yrs)

It is so important that you start your little one early in learning the Word of God. We focus on four topics: the Bible, Jesus, Creation and God's family. These are taught in a repetitive style so it is easy for your little one to understand.

"Train up a child in the way he or she should go and when grown, they will not depart from it."
-Proverbs 22:6
